The neutral taste is pretty much similar to traditional ones, which is why can be served with jam, maple syrup, yogurt, fruit, omelette, and fried bacon or ham. If you want a specifically sweet waffle, add sweetener to taste to the dough.

Ingredients: dietary fibers (cellulose), Thickener: psyllium husk flour, konjac gum, xanthan gum, tara gum; Raising agent: sodium bicarbonate, Acidity regulator: GDL (glucono delta-lactone), ascorbic acid, Sweetener: erythritol; Salt.

Recommended recipe (approx. 6-8 pieces)

  • 80 g fiber blend,
  • 2 large eggs (approx. 125 g),
  • 10-20 ml oil,
  • 175 ml milk

Method: In a bowl, combine the whole eggs, oil, and milk. Mix well. Add the fiber blend to the wet ingredients and incorporate it until the mixture is even. The dough will be denser than one made with wheat flour. Preheat the baking form. When it’s hot, spray it well with oil, even if the baking surface is non-stick. Each time you add a new portion of dough, repeat the oil spraying. Put an appropriate quantity of dough into the baking form. Bake until golden brown. These waffles may need a little longer baking time than traditional ones. Enjoy the neutral taste of these waffles—they pair well with both salty and sweet toppings!
