Ingredients (for 3 pita):
165 g Fiber Baker's mixture for replacing bread with natural taste
3 large eggs (110 g)
1 egg white (45 g)
30 ml melted butter, lard, coconut, or olive oil (we recommend butter or lard)
200 ml room temperature water
Method:
Prepare the Dough:
In a bowl, combine the whole eggs and the egg white.
Add the fat and water to the eggs and mix thoroughly.
Gradually incorporate the fiber blend into the wet ingredients until you have a smooth mixture.
Divide the dough into three equal parts, rolling each one into a round shape and pressing to a thickness of 1.5-2 cm.
Prick the dough in several places to prevent it from puffing up too much.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
Bake the Pita:
Preheat your oven to 170°C-180°C (340°F-350°F).
Bake the pita crusts without any toppings for 25-35 minutes, or until they pass the toothpick test.
